The family of a 12-year-old Banks boy heaves a huge sigh of relief after the seventh grader dissappeared Monday evening.
Chris Scorcio has no history of running away, but his mom says that’s just what he did December 1st. Chris reportedly bolted from the home he shares with mom and his grandparents midway through an argument. He was upset when the adults forbid him from playing in a basketball game because of a poor grade in school.
When a child takes off like this, it’s obviously terrifying to the parents. But in this case, the fear was only heightened by the fact that Chris took off in just shorts and a T-Shirt, despite the frigid and wet December elements.
Chris was found this morning, moments before a full scale search was set to get underway. A t this point, there’s no word on where he spent the night, but we are told he is physically ok.
