Whole Foods making a micro (MAJOR) difference

Category: Uncategorized — admin @ 2:02 pm

Just had an amazing interview with Noelle Sosaya from Whole Foods Markets.  She spent a month working with the Whole Planet Foundation in Guatemala.  The foundation offers micro loans ($200 USD average) to people in developing nations who need help starting a business, etc.

Incredible how such a relatively small amount can literally change an entire community.  Make sure you tune in to KXL Monday morning for the full story and to hear from Noelle herself.

And, make sure you make a donation to the foundation in the coming weeks.

Great news for Wilsonville (and the entire green/sustainable contingent in PDX).  SoloPower has confirmed it will stay in Wilsonville for ten years.  For details on the agreement, check out the write up in The O.

Apologies

Hi Everyone . . . sorry for the sparse posting.  We’ve been working through technical issues.

Should be back to full strength now.  And, as always, tune in to the Good News Update Mondays at 6:50 and 8:50 on KXL.
