Unless you’ve been living under a rock all weekend, you know that the Oregon Ducks beat the Oregon State Beavers in the Civil War. However, Duck AND Beaver fans can hold their heads high today considering this:
If USC loses next weekend to UCLA, Oregon State maintains a tiebreaker in the conference and still gets a trip to the Rose Bowl. If not, they are still tied for second in the conference which is a major accomplishment considering that many media types picked the Beavs to finish in the lower half of the PAC 10.
Of course Duck Fans can still beam about the stunning upset victory on Saturday and begin making plans for the Holiday bowl.
