This season hasn’t quite shaped up the way Seahawks Head Coach Mike Holmgren hoped. Just a few years removed from being robbed by the refs from playing in the Super Bowl, the Hawks only have a handful of wins and zero hope of the playoffs. But in this weekends final home game against the Brett-Favre-Lead-Jets, they gave their departing head coach an impressive performance and walked out with a 13-3 victory.
Fans showed their appreciation for Holmgren’s time in Seattle (turning a perennial cellar dweller into a repeat NFC West Champion) by pelting the field with snowballs after the game ended. Holmgren said it was the one time in his life he’s enjoyed being hit by snow.
